Takamine Kiyomaro, um cara deprimido que não se importa com ninguém, de repente recebe um pequeno demônio chamado Zatch Bell e se vê obrigado a cuidar dele. Mas ele não sabe que Zatch está envolvido em uma luta intensa para decidir quem será o governante do mundo dos demônios. Cada demônio pode escolher um mestre na Terra e com a ajuda dele derrotar outros demônios até que um saia vitorioso. Kiyomaro se torna o mestre de Zatch e, através de suas muitas batalhas, começa a entender a importância da amizade e da coragem.

Kiyo Takamine é um estudante muito inteligente, que por isso falta várias aulas por se achar superior a todos na escola, inclusive os professores. Enquanto isso o seu pai descobre um garoto diferente chamado Zatch Bell, que em agradecimento por tê-lo salvo, decide ajudar Kiyo a ser uma boa pessoa.

After the battle with Cheri and her dark Mamodo, Kiyo is sent to the hospital with a kid named Shuuta, who was to be released 6 monthes ago. Zatch tries to cheer Shuuta up, but is shunned and given his lunch. When Kiyo tries to cheer him up, Shuuta snaps and steals his red book while Kiyo gets some juice! Then he threatens to burn it! Will Kiyo find the book in time, or is it bye-bye Zatch Bell?

Duelo no Jardim Botânico

Zatch tries to make friends with the same kids from last time in the park, but was shunned and made fun of, being called a freak. One of them says she's going to the zoo with HER friends, Zatch doesn't have any...except Kiyo and Suzie! Kiyo ""offers"" to take them to the botanical gardens, only to find an old friend, Ivy, and a new enemy with a Mamodo, who've been training for the Mamodo fight. While Suzie is away, the Mamodo and his master use their powers on the trees and the people, including Ivy! Kiyo comes up with a plan to save the people and stop them, but will it be enough?

O Mamono Gentil, Koruru

A female Mamodo appears in the city and instantly becomes friends with a girl named Lori, sort of like how Kiyo and Zatch met, except without the smashing windows. The Mamodos name's Kolulu and is very sweet and thinks of Lori as a big sister. Soon after Kolulu meets Zatch and instantly remembers him. Which is going to do; fighting her in her otherself or sending her back to the Mamodo World like the others from the past when she proves to be one of the few good Mamodos who refuses to fight?

Zatch and Kiyo learn a new spell and go out to a secluded area to try it out. However the spell does not succeed! Meanwhile a Jester-Like Momodo challenges Zatch and Kiyo to a battle, and thoroughly thrashes them. When Zakair and Rashield fail, only their last spell can save them! But can Kiyo and Zatch get it to work?

Kiyo, Zatch, Megumi and Tia break into the Deboro Ruins with Folgore and Kanchome in order to defeat Milordo-Z (Zofis) and Koko and save the innocent people under their control. Unfortunatly, Folgore and Kanchome have their hands full with Alm.

When they think that they finally trapped the two mamodo, a huge armored mamodo named Ganz appears behind Kanchome and Folgore. Now, Kiyo, Zatch, Megumi, Tia, Kanchome and Folgore fight agaisn't Alm and two new mamodo, a blue dragon named Geluos and Ganz. The room ends up flooding. Unfortunatly, the lightning spells don't work underwater. Now Kiyo, Zatch and the rest of the gang must come up with a plan to defeat the mamodo's before they call in for help. Meanwhile, Sherry and Brago fight another Millennium Mamodo and also encounter Dr. Riddles and Kiddo.

Zatch and Tia's battle as Alm and and Geluos rages on as Zatch isn't fighting back. Folgore and Kanchome are still fighting against Ganz and trying to burn his book. After all that is done, Alm warns them that the next opponents will be tougher. Meanwhile, Naomi and Suzie are bored without Zatch and Kiyo around.

While resting, Zatch and his friend meet Victoream, a goofy mamodo with a taste for melon, who challenges them to a fight.

The group is in no condition to fight but luckly is saved when Laila,one of the attacking mamodo's turns out to be a traitor and saves the group. It appeares two mamodo's controled by z can't attack each other. While Dalmos powered up and attacks Laila advises them to run. After giving his book to Tia so she can protect it, Zatch and Kiyo team up with Laila to fight Dalmos. Dalmos gains a huge advantage though, since he can attack zatch but Laila can't attack Dalmos. After a frightening display of power Laila appears to have given up, when Ponygon appears with his book owner to take over the fight.
