MuMu é um alienígena em forma de gato que veio de uma galáxia distante. Seu objetivo é aprender sobre eletrônicos e eletrodomésticos para que assim possa recuperar a tecnologia que sua espécie perdeu. A protagonista da história, Sakurako, tinha uma vida universitária comum, porém tudo muda drasticamente com a chegada de Mumu! Ela acaba morando com o gato alienígena e acaba se envolvendo nas várias confusões que ele causa. A reação química entre Sakurako e MuMu resulta em uma comédia maluca sobre uma aventura com gatos e eletrodomésticos!
